Carol Wiebe is one of those people whose hands and mind always itch to be active. As a child born to parents with hyperactive work ethics, her propensities toward reading and making art, which started early and never abated, were considered a frivolous use of time. But art has always offered her a way to process life as she lives it. Impressions, emotions, and the themes and issues that command her attention--all have outlets for expression. That practice constantly supports and surprises her.
Collage, mixed media, painting and the creation of handmade books are a few of her passions.
Carol has had work published in Quilting Arts, Workshop on the Web, Fibre & Stitch, and has been included in a number of artists' published books.
