DeeDee Catron is a mixed media artist with a flair towards vintage ephemera collage and mark making. She can be recognized for her enthusiasm in all things black and white, with some neutrals thrown in for good measure. She is an avid teacher and instructor and loves a great live demo! She adores designing innovative products & sharing ideas on how to use them. It brings DeeDee great joy to tackle the challenge of product design. She thrives in creating unique items for other artists to use, both for her own company UmWowStudio & others in the industry like 7 Dots Studio & StencilGirl. Her product line ranges in but is not limited to patterned paper, designer tissue, chipboard shapes, book bones, art tape, stencils & much more. She shares her knowledge & encourages a good discussion about art fundamentals, while dabbling in many forms and media. She has a gift for sharing her “raw art brain” as she works through her art pieces, either live or recorded, allowing her genuine creativity to show through.

DeeDee has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Industrial Design which she’s combined with her passions for paper crafting and fine arts to unapologetically make up DeeDee Catron the Mixed Media Artist.

She is also one of three founders of The Ugly Art Club.
