The December 2016 StencilClub collection is Heraldry, designed by Gwen Lafleur. This month's designs are chock full of hand-drawn elements that can be used to design your own family crest or coat of arms, or can be used on their own to make borders, backgrounds, and corners in your art journaling or mixed media artwork.
Check out the intro video to hear more about Gwen's inspiration for this collection. She also shares a few ideas for using the stencils - both for the obvious use of creating a coat of arms, as well as more generic applications such as using the mantling (flourishes) and rosettes to make borders, corners, and embellishments.
Gwen also put together a free, bonus tutorial making an art journal page - start to finish - using this month's stencils!
