Birgit Koopsen designed Doublet of Patterns A to accompany Doublet of Patterns B.

Birgit says: "My designs are made with gel printing in mind as a gel printing is my favorite and most used art form. Stencils are great tools for gel printing and what I love to do is using the paint that is underneath the stencil when it’s lifted from the gel plate. The left over paint gives a beautiful, distressed and grungy feel to all of your prints.
"I have a thing with circles, they are my favorite shapes and I also love geometric patterns so stencils like these are my go to textures to use on my gel plate or in my mixed media art journals. I love using them in my backgrounds but I also like to cut shapes from my prints and use the textured prints as collage material."
