Julie Snidle is an abstract painter and teacher who was born in Minneapolis, MN in 1955. With a degree in education she taught professionally in the classroom and was a corporate training administrator in Dallas, TX before following her passion for art and painting.

Julie is a disciplined self-taught artist who has focused on encaustic since 2004 and is now an Artist/Educator for R&F Handmade Paints based in Kingston, NY. She teaches encaustic and oil/cold wax workshops in her studio and throughout the United States. Her work appears in numerous galleries across the country and she is currently represented by Kolman & Pryor Gallery in Minneapolis, MN.
